Commercial contracts underpin business relationships. In order to provide both peace of mind and security for your business position then your commercial contracts need to be reliable and function as exactly intended.

Two things are extremely important. Firstly, that your Solicitors possess strong Commercial Law knowledge and secondly that they possess experience in the area.

Despite what people might say, and subject to some limited exceptions, commercial contracts do not necessarily need to be in writing to be enforceable. If you have any doubt, then you should seek immediate legal advice.

A number of things including it being understandable and unambiguous. It should encapsulate all of the relevant commercial terms between the parties and leave no “grey areas”.
